🔥Is the Summer Job Market Heating Up? 🔥
This week I dug into LinkedIn job postings to help spot shifts in demand and emerging opportunities. This snapshot focuses on 4 job titles and their hiring volume across the United States: Product Marketing Manager, Growth Marketing Manager, Field Marketing Manager and Partner Marketing Manager. We wanted to understand what’s happening in the job market right now as we head into the summer. Here’s what the latest data from the past week and month reveals:

Insights & Trends
1. Product Marketing is the hottest category.
With over 1,200 jobs in the last month, it dominates the market.
The steady pace (44% of monthly volume last week) suggests consistent demand rather than a spike.
Even in today’s job market their continues to be demand for product marketers
2. Partner Marketing is spiking.
72% of the entire month’s postings happened just last week—a potential surge in demand.
Suggests a wave of partner programs launching or expanding or orgs shifting toward channel and ecosystem growth.
Job seekers with partner/channel experience should act fast—this could potentially be a short-term spike.
3. Growth Marketing hiring is modest but steady.
Smaller overall volume, but week-over-week consistency (48%) shows ongoing need for revenue-driving marketers.
This one was surprising to me, anecdotally I’ve seen a lot of early stage startups looking to hire Growth Marketers. I would expect this role would have the highest volume of openings that just might not be posted on LinkedIn (and more are posted directly on company careers pages and VC job boards)
4. Field Marketing is slower, possibly regional or event-driven.
Moderate total postings but slower weekly pace (38%) suggest limited new openings or seasonal/event timing.
May rebound closer to Q4 planning or major conferences.
