As you’ll notice in this week’s opportunities, we are unfortunately seeing a steady shift away from fully remote roles.

📊 In Q2 2025, about 24% of new job postings were hybrid, while only 12% were fully remote (Robert Half).

🏢 Office visits in the U.S. were up 10.7% year over year in July 2025, though still 21.8% below pre-COVID levels.

What this means if you’re job hunting:

  • Expect more roles that ask for at least 3 days/week in the office.

  • Geography matters more again—proximity to hub offices can expand your options.

  • If remote is a must for you, competition will continue to increase.

Hybrid roles are increasing YoY. If you absolutely need to be remote we still think your best industries to target are: DevOps, Cybersecurity, AI, Finance Operations, and Design/Creative Services
